Green Screen by Do Ink App Reviews

Just finished hours of filming and editing and now the doink app crashes everytime my students try to show their video to the class. They were so proud of their work and now are disappointed.

Just finished a sensational assembly item for my students! Hours worth of work and practice for them and now green screen app won't open to add in last image nor let me play what we have done so far! EPIC FAILURE DOINK! You can tell my students and all my parents why they now don't have an assembly item! Extremely disappointing. Waste of hours of time I do not have. Not good enough!!!!!!

Crash!!! Crash!!! Crash!! Very disappointed! Wasted three hours only to find the app won't load past 13 frames. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

Why Why Why can't I open my project????? Crashes every time!

Export quality is very good. Trimming easy to use. The only app where it is possible to scale green screen video in each plan to fit FX better. Can also resize picture, transparent PNG... La meilleure appli pour monter des effets spéciaux

Frustrated with app. Cannot save project to camera roll! Grrrrrrr.....

This App is great, especially when considering that professional green screen software comes with a hefty price tag. I know there is some free computer software available but I never found one that gave you a live screen back to interact with the video. I used my iPhone mounted to a tripod and screen-shared my phone to my Apple TV, that way I had a great live image to interact with. The app did get a little glitchy a couple of times by not showing the base video correctly, all I had to do was restart the app and it worked great again. Im not even sure it was the apps fault, may have been my IPhone6.

Maybe Im just easily impressed but this little video and photo app is disturbingly good and simple as Pi carried out just three digits. My first effort was a still image wherein I placed myself on the deck of a US Navy Cruiser being saluted by the captain. Here is the hoot, people I show it to believe it to be real. There are none of the Photoshop artifacts. Heck, I made this image and it looks dead on real to me. My second effort was a video of me standing in a dungeon explaining all the fun things I found. Again this is truly realistic and my video will be great fun come Halloween. The children will be so thrilled. Im using an iPhone 6s Plus and a 9.7 iPad Pro and I know nothing about Chroma key except as a viewer. If I can do chroma key perfectly on the first try so can you. Believe me it wasnt skill. It was the App. 5 Stars.

I made a project recently in this app that required only one video and some copying and pasting. Creating this project was quite easy and intuitive with the Green Screen apps great controls. However, trying to access this project at a later time to export it has caused the app to crash everytime. I have tried creating new projects and redoing the green screen effect and nothing seems to be working. If Do Ink fixes this I will write a better review with more stars because I think this app can be better if the developers put in some time to work out the bugs. Thanks!

I really dont like how the video comes out pixelated, + it is hard to use

Tech support says minis dont have enough RAM. Was told to split up movie into segments then splice together in app or iMovie. I have wasted too much time on this already and cant afford to try it this time. Im only trying to make 5 two to three minute videos, but have spent about five hours on it. Doink should state this storage issue up front. They also suggested transferring my videos to a device with more RAM, but I cant even get the videos to load in order to do this. Teachers can only use what were provided. Sorry kids, we wont be able to watch your videos on the last day of school.

Even without a perfectly ironed backdrop, this app works great. Not the best at video editing, but easy enough to import from and export to other apps.

Frustrated with app. It closes when you are trying to record your layers. You have to start again.

This is such a fun app and so easy to use. I love it. You can do lots of fun and create stuff. Its worth the 2.99

The Chroma Key is not very accurate. I would really like to see it work better. Please fix it and keep updating the app because I want something even more amazing. Make my money worth it.

Ive been looking for a green screen app forever now and I bought this well more like wasted $2.99 on this JUNK!!!!!!!!!! I have a $200.00 green screen and it wouldnt work theres no way it will work. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRAP! I want my stinking money back NOW
